LOLER Inspections

We specialise in carrying out LOLER Inspection within the Arborcultural industry. 6 monthly climbing kit inspections and 12 monthly rigging kit inspections.

Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations  1998 (commonly known as LOLER),  is designed to make sure that all Lifting Operations are properly planned, appropriately supervised with comforming Lifting Equipment, that is suitable to the safely carry out such operations within the Safe Working Loads as defined by a Competent Person.. 

 

As part of the Health and Safety legislation, all equipment used has to be fit for purpose under 'Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER). To ensure this, the equipment used in climbing PPE and rigging is regulated under the ‘Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998’ (LOLER).

 

The ‘Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998’ (LOLER) are a legal requirement for regular thorough examinations of Arboricultural Equipment. This has to be carried out at regular intervals by a qualified competent person
